BROMO-SELTZER BLUES
When I see the blue bottles arranged in a group together, overlapping and reflecting light, I am wrapped up in an embrace with color. There is such a range of blues to observe and experience. The biggest ones and some of the older bottles have the characteristics of old bubbly glass. There’s just the richness in the undulation of the color and the sounds of the clinking as I sort them. I think of them having healing powers just in the sorts of sounds that they make as they cling and clink together. I long to have them tied up on a piece of driftwood, and I have a longing to carry them on my back. Wishing so hopefully to be a healer, to be healed myself, and to have the power to make things better.
